Our instructors

Experience, structure, and attention to the student.

At Ittai Dojo we teach martial arts to adults with clear fundamentals, progression, and attention to the person who is training.

How we teach

Seriousness without losing sight of the person.

We expect attention, consistency, and effort, but we understand that each student arrives with a different history, experience, and capabilities.

Our work as instructors is to give structure to training, explain clearly, observe, correct, and help each person build a practice they can sustain over the long term.

Sensei Alan Mokbel, head instructor of Ittai Dojo

Head instructor

Sensei Alan Mokbel

3rd Dan Black Belt · Kyokushin Karate · More than 25 years of experience

Alan leads Ittai Dojo and its Kyokushin program. His teaching rests on solid fundamentals, progressive practice, and corrections that help the student understand what they are doing—not just repeat movements.

His approach is designed especially for adults: serious, demanding training that is still compatible with different levels of experience, physical condition, and responsibilities outside the dojo.

As Ittai Dojo grows as a martial arts academy, it keeps the same principle across disciplines: learn with patience, train with consistency, and develop real capability over time.

Senpai Guillaume Blanc, assistant instructor at Ittai Dojo

Assistant instructor

Senpai Guillaume "Guillermo" Blanc

3rd kyu — advanced green belt · 12 years of Kyokushin karate

His path in martial arts began in adolescence, in France, with judo and taekwondo. In 2001 he discovered Kyokushin karate and found in this traditional art a more complete practice: technique, character, and consistency.

After years in Europe and Canada, he settled in Mexico in 2010. It was here that he returned to Kyokushin with seriousness—not as a youth episode, but as sustained training to develop body, mind, and spirit.

An interpreter-translator by profession and a parent, he has trained at Ittai Dojo for years. As senpai, he supports the head instructor's classes and accompanies students on the tatami: the same demand, with the closeness of someone walking the path beside them.
